Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha! :)

and have a good, long holiday! How are you spending your holidays? I'm spending mine with my in laws this time. In fact, I'm currently in my hubby's hometown at the time I'm typing out this post. I thank ALLAH for being in this country because foreigners envy us for having so many public holidays! Its so great to take a breather from work and just relax. Especially when the holiday is on Friday! :D

My hubby and I would usually go on our usual movie date whilst we're in his hometown. However, I was very disappointed that there's no good movies in the Fall season. All the good ones are during the Summer. I know that its their Summer holidays and their marketing strategy to churn out as many movies as possible during this season but come on, leave some for other seasons! :l I want to watch Ted but I know for sure that it will be brutally censored by our censorship board. Instead of a 2 hour movie, it will be just 1.5 hours after all the censoring. What's the point of watching?!

I'm currently reading 3 books at once! I know... It will be hard but I'm determined to go on with it. I started with the 2nd book, The Monstrumologist because my first book,

The White Queen is too slow. Its readable and quite good but the pace is just too slow. I need some action in my life! :D The Monstrumologist is a really good book! Lots of blood and gore plus some monsters, of course! :D

My third book is Gossip Girl. I've neither read the books nor watch the series. I thought it was too girly for me but I want to read and understand what the hype is about. Maybe one of these days, I will watch the series. I'm quite intrigued by it. I think its really similar to Pretty Little Liars but with less murder and more fashion! Hehehe...

Tell me what books are you reading now in the comments, ok? I hope you are having a good day so far. :)

This just in! :D

I'm ecstatic beyond belief now! I just saw Nigella's and Jamie's cookbooks for less than RM50!!! Argggghhhhh!!!! I must wait patiently for the sale. OMG! Its so hard to be patient! I've always wanted to collect their cookbooks ever since my sister bought me Nigella's cookbook! I will collect all of them. Mark my words! Mostly, I like Nigella. She's my domestic goddess. I know her "nothing surprises me" attitude is make believe but I like to think that's how she is in real life. :D

I wonder what's the first thing I would say to her if I get a chance to meet her one day?! Probably scream first and introduce myself later. Gosh, I hope she doesn't run away. Its normal to scream at your favourite celebrity when you first meet them, right?! :)

Playing The Sims 3 - Late Night

I'm The Sims biggest fan! I've been playing them ever since I was in college. I fell in love with the game when I watched TechTV which was once on Astro. I loved all the shows on that network. Too bad some other network bought it over. It went off air after that. To get my latest games fix, I would watch it on that network. So, The Sims won my heart and its the one game I would spend some hard earned money on. I've bought quite a few expansion packs and I have a quite a few more to go on my wishlist. :) For now, this game has kept me captivated. However, I can only play 1 Sim at a time! I've tried playing with 2 Sims. It was successful at first but in the end, I had a MASSIVE headache! That's just from a day's playing! :( There are too many goals and needs to achieve! Too little time!

Oh, there's vampires in this one too! ;)

If you've never played it before, check it out. I bought my expansion packs from The Software Boutique. I'm not being paid in any way to promote them. I want to buy original games for fear that the pirated ones will corrupt my beloved Macbook White. :) If its corrupted, to repair it will take a LOT of money. Hence, better be safe than sorry. The Software Boutique has many games and they have an online store too! Trust me, you wouldn't want to go to the store! Not because it looks seedy. Its just parking is a nightmare in SS2, PJ! I hate going to PJ! Anyway, from what I saw, all the expansion packs in The Sims official website was there! WHOA! Makes it easier for me to do a one shop shop! ;) Nope, I'm not going to say one stop shop. ;) EA Games has raised their prices a bit and they might increase it again next year. For the old expansion packs, it remains at the old price. Just the latest ones that gets a "boost"! Oh man! :l

That's all for my "geeky" post. What can I say... at my age, I'm still ecstatic with playing games! Especially The Sims!

Now, do me a favour, never under any circumstances, ask what my age is! ;)

I love going to the stationery store!

Is it weird that I love going to the stationery store? Do you like going there too? Someone out there please tell me you are the same as me. :) Lately, I've been loving going to Popular and craft stores. They have many neat things! Among them are this set of scissors that I really want! This set comes in 6-7 scissors that can cut in weird shapes e.g waves, lace and so on! It costs RM27! I still cannot bring myself to buy it but I think I might purchase the single pair of scissors which has the one pattern on it. I saw it for RM4 in Tesco! I haven't done craft in a while but after watching KinCommunity on YouTube, I feel very "crafty". ;) Hehehe... There are so many tools to make our craft projects easier. The last time I made any craft was in my secondary school! Arghhhh!!! Long time ago! However, I have a feeling that I'm going to purchase some craft books from the BBW sale. This will be the beginnings of a beautiful journey. :) There are so many neat finds in the stationery store that I had to hold myself back and ask, "Do I really need that? What do I need it for? and Will I just use it once?" :) I did see some colourful stickers that I really wanted! I know, right?! Stickers?! You've got to be kidding! Well, if you go to the stationery store and look at these, I guarantee you'll be asking those 3 questions yourself! :D Hehehe...

When I was in school and college, I used to spend an hour or so just looking at the products that the store carries. So many unimaginable products. Products in your head that you might think has never been invented, has been invented to make your art and crafts projects easier.

Most of the time, I would investigate what each item is and what their functions are. Then, the usual, "Oh, that's what this is for!" would escape my lips. Its nice just browsing the stationery store. If by chances, you see a stationery store at a mall, don't just walk on by. Stop and see what's in the store. They might have things for your next project to "beautify" your notebook or your desk! :) Have fun window shopping at the stationery store. Great change to just looking at cosmetic products. ;)

Blogging is hard work

HUGE respect goes out to bloggers all over the world! Its hard work. Usually I would hardly insert any photos taken by myself because its just too much work. However, all the bloggers out there are INCREDIBLE! It takes a huge amount of time to take pictures, type out your posts and getting the overall layout of your blog right. Sometimes, its even harder to think of a topic to type out. :) So, to all bloggers, GOOD JOB! :D

I will have a post tomorrow. Nothing beauty related, I think... ?! I could be wrong. ;) See you tomorrow! :D
