A video on my experience at the 2012 BBW sale
How are you doing? I had so much fun at the BBW sale the other day. I do have an advice to those going to the sale, please, please, please put back the books that you aren't going to buy at the designated tables. Even if its not the correct tables, just put them on a table. Please do not leave them on the floor or worse, near the toilets! Come on! There are other people who wants to read those books too! Be more considerate! To those that have practiced this, I thank you. To those that haven't, its not too late. You can do your civic duty to others. They have the same interest as you. Thank you for your help. :) Come and watch the video! I have a special guest in it! :)

An update on my life and the BBW books sale! Woo hoo!!! :D
I'm getting extremely excited as its just 2 days away (not counting today, of course) from the BBW books sale. I have a huge list of books that I'll be getting there. If you do see me there, come over and say HI, ok? Don't be shy. :) I'll be there this Friday bright and early. I'll be going there again a few more times after that. I'll update on all my social medias when I'll be there. Introduce yourself, ok? :) Here's a video I made sans my video camera (urgh! I'm still very angry that I'm deprived of it!). Let me know if you are going! :)

The Walking Dead!

Yes! I am a fan! A HUGE fan! I cannot get enough of it. I know its the most watched series in the world at the moment and I'm jumping on the band wagon because of that. Well, I'm taking my love for it to the next level. I'm going to start collecting the graphic novels next. I know its not the kind of literature that I'm quite used to but I want to venture out of my bubble. The book below is a compilation of 48 issues and it costs RM204 with some change in Kinokuniya. Its much cheaper than buying the individual volumes which values at RM51+. Based on Amazon's search, there are 7 books altogether. I might be saving up some money to buy these next and it will be a collection which I'll start next year.

I was telling my sister whilst we were in Kinokuniya how expensive it was. Then we had a debate on why I should spend RM200 on a book when I can easily download it online. That was her argument. Here's my argument. I want to support the author. As frankly as my sister has noted that the author was already laughing 10x more on the way to the bank. I know that but I still feel the need to lend my support by purchasing a copy of it. My second argument, nothing beats holding and reading a physical book. My third argument, I do not intend to wear Coke bottle glasses at my age. Hence, why I'm still contemplating getting an e-reader. Its not feasible if I buy the e-reader and still purchase a majority of my books from the BBW sale. Plus, have you seen the e-book prices?! Whoa! After doing the math, I might be paying more for an e-book. Yeah, you cannot argue with the space saving but it still costs too much. :( Anyway, back to the story. Who knows, with the introduction of this graphic novel into my life, it might open doors to more graphic novel series. Do you know that Cassandra Clare came out with a Manga novels for her Infernal Devices series? Whoa! I don't know yet whether I'll purchase it since its based on the books that I already have in my collection. However, whatever Cassandra Clare churns out has never failed me so far! :)
Do you have a favourite graphic novel or comic? Wolverine? Spiderman? Archie comics? Tell me what's yours! :)

Writer's block
Should I call it Blogger's block? I'm currently suffering from this "disease". Its been far too long since I've made any posts here.
Any time I have an idea on what to type, I would stop myself. Stating to myself, "That's not interesting enough to read". I'll keep having this debate with myself and like the below image, I kept thinking I have to blog a post! Not turning into a zombie like the below image though. :)

As you all know, this blog of mine does not contain much beauty related posts except those videos that I've attached from my YouTube channel. Otherwise, its purely about my life. This is the way I vlog. Talking about vlogging. Vlogging is a phenomena now on YouTube. Almost everyone is doing it. I was intrigued and really want to get on the band wagon too. However, since vlogging starts in the morning right after you wake up (that's the point, its recording your entire day from start to finish), I don't think this type of videos are suitable for me. Mainly due to I don't wear my hijab in the house all the time. :) I wear it just when I want to go out or an outsider visits my house. Therefore, if I do this kind of videos, I would literally be hot at home. Hence, I would sometimes do a snippet of me doing some grocery shopping here and there. If I would do these videos one day, I would have to figure out how to do it best that would be a convenience for me. :) I have a relatively laid back life though. I'm more of a home body. So, I wonder if that would be an interesting content. Hmm... The other day, I was considering buying a small compact camera. Its easier to carry for an on the go vlog. However, my budget does not permit me to do so. Hmm.. :( Plus, the memory is too small. If you want to record in HD, it would take up too much memory. Camera woes. :( I'll have to make do with whatever I have for now. Oh well. You can't have everything. Just have to work with what you've got. :) I hope you're having a good start to the weekend! I'm staying in this weekend. Yeay! :)

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha! :)
and have a good, long holiday! How are you spending your holidays? I'm spending mine with my in laws this time. In fact, I'm currently in my hubby's hometown at the time I'm typing out this post. I thank ALLAH for being in this country because foreigners envy us for having so many public holidays! Its so great to take a breather from work and just relax. Especially when the holiday is on Friday! :D
The White Queen is too slow. Its readable and quite good but the pace is just too slow. I need some action in my life! :D The Monstrumologist is a really good book! Lots of blood and gore plus some monsters, of course! :D

My hubby and I would usually go on our usual movie date whilst we're in his hometown. However, I was very disappointed that there's no good movies in the Fall season. All the good ones are during the Summer. I know that its their Summer holidays and their marketing strategy to churn out as many movies as possible during this season but come on, leave some for other seasons! :l I want to watch Ted but I know for sure that it will be brutally censored by our censorship board. Instead of a 2 hour movie, it will be just 1.5 hours after all the censoring. What's the point of watching?!
I'm currently reading 3 books at once! I know... It will be hard but I'm determined to go on with it. I started with the 2nd book, The Monstrumologist because my first book,

My third book is Gossip Girl. I've neither read the books nor watch the series. I thought it was too girly for me but I want to read and understand what the hype is about. Maybe one of these days, I will watch the series. I'm quite intrigued by it. I think its really similar to Pretty Little Liars but with less murder and more fashion! Hehehe...

Tell me what books are you reading now in the comments, ok? I hope you are having a good day so far. :)

This just in! :D
I'm ecstatic beyond belief now! I just saw Nigella's and Jamie's cookbooks for less than RM50!!! Argggghhhhh!!!! I must wait patiently for the sale. OMG! Its so hard to be patient! I've always wanted to collect their cookbooks ever since my sister bought me Nigella's cookbook! I will collect all of them. Mark my words! Mostly, I like Nigella. She's my domestic goddess. I know her "nothing surprises me" attitude is make believe but I like to think that's how she is in real life. :D

I wonder what's the first thing I would say to her if I get a chance to meet her one day?! Probably scream first and introduce myself later. Gosh, I hope she doesn't run away. Its normal to scream at your favourite celebrity when you first meet them, right?! :)
